Editor: What are the Unicode Snippets?
The unicode snippets for use with text expander designed. So you can just enter any Unicode characters that you can reach the poor keyboard normally.
How is this installed?
Open the Text Expander Panel in the System Preferences that you find in the Apple menu. Under the Snippets tab you can click on + one new Snippet of a file group from hinzuĆ¼gen. Then select the desired. Expander text file. I recommend the group to import as editable copy.
How do I use the snippet?
Like all other TextExpander snippets. The abbreviation of the desired expansion and enter the shortcut through the appropriate long version can replace text expander. The snippets follow a simple scheme. Each begins with an abbreviation u followed by the hexadecimal code of the Unicode character.
Is there an easy way to find the characters that I need?
You can use the hex code needed in the Character Palette, the Edit menu you find in the check. Select code table from the drop down menu. The left column tells you in what. Expander text file you'll find this sign.
